Video: A Mission to End Child Exploitation on Cocoa Plantations

Tony Chocolonely exists to fulfill its social mission to create the new norm of global, 100 percent slave-free chocolate, effectively putting an end to child exploitation on cocoa plantations.

Dutch chocolate confectioner Tony Chocolonely is taking a hard stand against the exploitation of children on cocoa plantations by educating consumers. In this documentary-style video, former child slaves, representing millions of exploited children forced to work on cocoa plantations, speak of their unthinkable experiences. Journalists, along with other professionals, also offer valuable feedback. Tony’s hopes consumers will join their movement of purchasing and consuming only slave-free chocolate to increase the number of those fighting for human rights for the betterment of the global cocoa and chocolate industry.
