Global Product Line Director - Plant Proteins, Cargill
Matthew manages Cargill’s plant-based protein business, which consists of various soy and pea ingredients today. Along with a broad R&D team, he is also responsible for driving Cargill’s involvement in next-generation botanical sources for alternative proteins. Matthew oversees the commercial relationship with Cargill’s joint venture partner, Puris, on the sales, development and expansion of their pea protein business. Previously, Matthew held other positions in Cargill on stevia and marketing, and for a time led the algae protein product line while at Solazyme/TerraVia.

Ryan is the Global Row Crop Sustainability Director for Cargill. In his role, he is responsible for leading strategy development and implementation of row crop sustainability programs and initiatives across Cargill’s enterprises. Focus areas include optimizing farmer productivity and prosperity while lessening impact on water and climate through scalable adoption of soil health best practices and supply chain alignment.
