Video: Blommer Leverages Customers Purchasing Power to Fight Poverty

In a video using pictures to communicate the story of cocoa farming families living in extreme poverty, Blommer Chocolate Co. suggests banding together to help meet basic needs—education, nutritious foods, health care and clean water—via consumer purchasing power.

Blommer Chocolate Co. is on a mission through its Livelihood Infrastructure Food Technology (L.I.F.T.) Cocoa program as a way for customers to use its ingredient purchasing power to partner in helping meet some of the farmers’ vital basic needs—education, nutritious food, health care and clean water. A picture truly is worth a thousand words, so the company created a video collage of actual farming communities to support its appeal to customers’ sense of corporate social responsibility.
